A Timeless Obsession

Day four:

1. I missed the bus this morning, which usually I would consider bad, only I got two hours extra sleep and wasn't chewed out for it. So, really, it was an excellent way to start the day.

2. I have a whole lot of new songs from Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, and E Nomine. Mixed them up in a playlist with all my Rammstein songs, and am now playing it really loudly. There's nothing better than gothic rock alongside lots of sexy german growling (and I mean seriously sexy growling).

3. kennahijja, just cause you're alive, and cause you wrote 'Gods of Hellfire', which I looked back through yesterday before I went to bed. That story spawns some major fic ideas, I tell you. Dirty, dirty ones <3 Involving Lucius, Draco, and, wonder of wonders, Ronald Weasley himself! (Two Malfoys getting Ron right where they want him? Gah, don't mind if I do!)

Though I still have no idea how you manage to make me want to write Weasleys... It must be a damn superpower. Curse you and your magic! I've got enough to write without being distracted by ideas for kinktastic fics. Although I do have to comend you for reminding me about fire-play (yes, I somehow got to a point where Lucius was setting alcohol on fire on top of a less-than-willing Rodolphus*, and it was a long and complicated process involving many hours of lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling, and going 'can this get any pornier?'. The answer, of course, was always 'yes'. I spent all afternoon thinking up a fucking novel full of sex.)

I repeat: 'SUPERPOWER'!!!!

*= I don't know how Ro got himself involved, but he wasn't particularly pleased (or conscious, for that matter, but that's cause Lucius is like the Energizer Bunny - just keeps going, and going, and going...)

4. Writing Malfoycest, and totally remembering exactly why it's my most favouritist pairing in the entire universe. Also, have snippets of writing for my Five Things Fest assignment.

5. Okay, I admit it, I'm a bit of a pyromaniac - I really love fire. And today I got to burn things XD That is a very happy-making thing.

Day Three:

1) I finished early! It's 2.00, and I'm at home, checking emails, with a cup of coffee on the way. I also accidentaly closed the lid of the kettle while filling it up, and got water everywhere, but still... I'm at home.

2) The coffee is here <3 (Yes, I know, I'm an addict.)

3) Uncle doesn't quite know what to make of my excessive sarcasm. I just do it 'cause it's funny to think of him being all baffled and 'o.0' at the other end of the phoneline.

Usually my family meets snark with snark. I think he missed out on that (Or, you know, could be because I'm the worst one out of all of us, and I can't help myself from being over-the-top when talking to him XD )

Day Two:

1. This, this, and the email I got.

That's almost too much happy, I tell you.

2. Little tabby kitten with the gorgeous blue eyes is sitting at my feet, and eyeing up my trousers. He's so cute it hurts. Oh... and here comes ginger kitten, who I call Hot Fuzz The Second, after the last ginger one we had.

They do have actual names, but I can't remember what they are. XD There's another one, too, which I do remember the name of. Motley, a tortie. She matches the other three cats we have <3

Day One:

1. I finished my livelongnmarry fic!!!

I don't even have the words to express how good that makes me feel. I started it last... September? Or August. Hell, I don't even remember, but I sent it to Melusina last night (eta: 'twas for her), and worked off my excess happy-energy by rocking out in the kitchen while making dinner. It reminds me that, no matter how hard writing may be a times, it's totally worth it <3

I'll be posting it later, too, once I code it. So many italics o.0

2. I have muse. Actual muse. 'Nuff said.

3. I mixed my two different types of coffee together, and the result was a cup full of complete and utter awesome! Mmmm... coffee. I'm making another one now.

I have 'Five Things' assignment. I have idea. I have icon. I have coffee. I have... yep, all the appropriate fingers for typing.

I'm set. Let's start this baby.

Rereading DH. Up to the part where they take Harry away from the Dursleys.

I always wondered... why Polyjuice everyone into Harry, instead of Polyjuicing Harry into someone else? And then making him invisible? And then Disapparating?

I hate this chapter, it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. They could have done it about twenty trillion other ways, and no one would have died. *huffs* No wonder none of them were Slytherins - they're all absolute fucktards when it comes to strategy.

I walked all the way to the supermarket today just because I needed coffee. It was freaking cold out, too (colder now, though, so I'm glad I went when I did). Takes about an hour and a half, all told. Came back with lots of coffee, some chocolate, and apples. Totally worth it. <3 Mind you, hour and half isn't much.

Anyway, that's not the point of this post. I watched movies. The Patriot and Robin Hood, Prince of Theives. Jason Isaacs and Alan Rickman, anybody?

For some reason, reading Pride and Prejudice slash seems to be a lot naughtier that reading slash in any of my other fandoms. I wonder why?

*sigh* I love men when they're all buttoned-up and classy. And I love fashion photography, though there aren't nearly enough gorgeous blonde models (real blonde, as opposed to 'slighty light-coloured')

Wtf. My keyboard is making me type things backwards. I put in 'insanejournal' in the bar-thingy and it comes up 'lanruojenasni'. Computer, cease and desist! This is freaking hard!

ETA: It's stopped *wipes brow* Thank the lord (or was it, perhaps, the power of the two men having sex in my icon? Methinks I will credit it to the latter...)

Sick (again - my immune system must be a joke, considering how often this happens). Though I did feel pretty good this morning, when I was out on a walk in the crisp, cold air (one good thing about the change of the seasons - I actually tend to be an extreme-temperature kind of person), but then it got hot, and I was required inside, and so I skipped out a few things I was meant to be going to and instead went home and crawled back into bed.

I wish it would get cold again. My head hurts.

On a brighter note, Pride and Prejudice fic is good for the soul <3

Why is it that being sick makes all my day-dreams extremely porny? Honestly, I feel completely beaten down, and my mind is supplying me with sex scenes... gee, thanks. That's oh so helpful.

I swear, the end of February must be cursed because I get sick every fucking year at this time. I spent all of yesterday asleep, and most of today curled up in my bed watching movies on my laptop (The Dark Knight and both of the newer Zorro's, in case you were wondering - a nice fix of Bale and Banderas) Now, it's about six and I've dragged myself into the other room to get some work done - problem is, now I'm sitting up, I can actually feel the blood leaving my face. It is not nice, at all.

I think I'm gonna load up a nice long fanfic and take my laptop back to bed. Who needs to meet deadlines, anyway?
